ROLE
UX Designer and Project Officer
Phase 1
UX Research & Collaborative Discovery
Led a multi-university design initiative using a Design Thinking approach:
- Comparative Analysis: Audited existing student portals at partner institutions to identify core needs and gaps.
- Stakeholder Workshops: Facilitated Miro-based workshops with 18 students (Bachelors to PhD) and 8 teachers to map pain points across enrollment phases (before/during/after).
- In-Person Synthesis: Hosted a 2-day co-creation/co-design workshop at Sorbonne University with 24 participants (students, faculty, admins)
Phase 2
Prototyping
Developed a Figma prototype (with Warsaw's dev team) prioritizing:
- Customizable filters for learning objectives (e.g., language, credit compatibility).
- Structured information cards for course details.
- Admin-friendly workflows for cross-university coordination.
Phase 3
User Testing
Conducted in-person tests at the University of Copenhagen on the high-fidelity prototype, evaluating:
- Clarity of filters and labels (e.g., "ECTS credits" vs. "local requirements").
- Information hierarchy on detail pages.
- Iterated based on feedback (e.g., simplified navigation for mobile users).
